This was my first time attending the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. Hopefully it won’t be my last!
There are a ton of images in here. I didn’t cull them too much as I know each of us has different cars that pique our interest. I’d hate to cut out a car that one of you would love to see!

That is some serious machinery. I can’t imagine seeing all that in person. Beautiful pictures.

That’s what it felt like being there! I had very limited time, so I didn’t even take the time to really look at everything. I didn’t read any of the signs or talk to owners or anything. I just moved really fast so I could see almost everything in the paddock in about an hour and a half. I would love to spend the whole weekend there sometime. So cool.

Excellent photos!
I know we romanticize the “old days” a lot and easily forget that big teams (Mercedes, Ferrari, etc.) were typically at the sharp end of the field, but boy do I yearn for the days when a team like Ecurie Ecosse could operate out of a small garage in Scotland and go beat the big teams.
That’s why I like rooting for teams like Rebellion, even though I know they have a minimal chance of winning.

Yeah, it was a pretty overwhelming experience!

I don’t know too much about Ecurie Ecosse, but I know enough to have been over-the-moon excited to see one of their D-types. And I saw it running! One of my favorites out at the track. Check out my race photos to see it just above the Corkscrew. Link is at the top.
